Set against the backdrop of the Crimean War, The Marquis's Healing tells the story of a duke's heir who loses his dearest friend in battle. The cover features an enigmatic female figure—perhaps the fallen friend's sister—who appears to be waiting expectantly for someone's arrival. The subtle positioning of her hands raises questions about whether she's concealing a wedding ring, adding layers of intrigue to her identity.
The design's strength lies in its restrained approach, employing a muted colour palette and elegant simplicity that offers a refreshing departure from typical romance novel aesthetics. The typography maintains a straightforward readability whilst incorporating a degree of gentleness that capture both the historical period and the author's writing style. Given the prominence of the title, particular attention was paid to selecting a characterful Q that would anchor the design with appropriate gravitas.

Wow! First-time author and was unsure of process. Arjan made it effortless! He was marvelous to work with. He understood what I was looking for and gave me more! For my second book he has delivered another stunning cover. He has talent, professionalism, a sense of humor and — above all — patience with a novice author.
